Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District (GCCCD) gives a top notch, affordable education in the East County since 1961. The district which is 1,138 square miles includes 2 colleges which consist of Grossmont and Cuyamaca. There, you can find flexible class schedules and learning opportunities which are provided in a wide range of education options for busy people.
There are about 27,000 students each semester who are served by the District. Grossmont first convened classes in 1961 and there are about 19,000 students every semester. Cuyamaca was established in 1978 and there are almost 9,000 students. The district has mission to provide outstanding diverse learning opportunities that prepare students to meet community needs, promotes a global responsibility and fosters opportunities for all. There are more than 150 degree and certificate programs in Grossmont College. Then, Cuyamaca College has 125 degree and certificate programs. There are more than 3,300 degrees and certificates which were awarded at Grossmont College and there are more than 900 degrees and certificates which were awarded at Cuyamaca College.
Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District has WebAdvisor which can be used by the students, staff and faculty. To access WebAdvisor, there is a “Quick Links” in the top right of the GCCCD homepage website. Just click that which then you will be brought to a page where there are a lot of links that you probably need. Find WebAdvisor there and then click. If you want to login to the GCCCD Webadvisor, you can click Log In button in the top right of the WebAdvisor page. When you log in, you will need to enter your User ID and password. You have to note that your user ID is your firstname.lastname. Then, your first time password is your birthdate in the format of MMDDYY. If you are new to WebAdvisor, you can click “I’m New to WebAdvisor”. There, you will be given some instructions of what you have to do. Here, we provide those instructions for your convenience.
- First, you have to get your user ID.
- Then, reset your password.
- After that, check your e-mail to get your password.
- Now, log in by using those username and password.
You can also change your password by clicking “Change Password”. Then, you will be brought to a page where you need to enter your User ID, old password, new password, confirm password and hint. Do not forget to click Submit if you have entered all the requested field. You have to note that your new password have to consist of 6 to 9 characters in length and include both letters and numbers. It is also recommended for you to provide a password hint.
The software of WebAdvisor is provided by Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District to be able to be used by the students for class registration and final grades. Students will be able to log in to this software after their application to the college is proceed. Usually, the application will be processed within 24 hours after submitting your application.
